The City of San Marcos issoliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below: Solicitation Number: IFB 224-167 ElectricDistribution IDIQ IFB Scope of Project: Includes butis not limited to the provision of maintenance and construction services forCity of San Marcos Electric Distribution as identified by the Owner and will beexecuted utilizing IDIQ Work Orders as necessary, in accordance with allcontract plans, specifications, and contract requirements. The estimated annualconstruction cost is $1,800,000. Project Manual, plans,addenda, bid tabulation, etc., available for download at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement. Bidders must submit acashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid inthe amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. A non-mandatory pre-bid video conferencewill be held on May 7, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to videoconference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov atleast 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference. Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St.,San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than May 30, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, andwill be conducted via videoconferencing. Requests for access to the videoconferencemust be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the bid opening. Award is scheduled for the July 2, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
